Extract Frames Easily with Frame Grab
Frame Grab is a multimedia app developed by YUJI MIMORI for the iPhone. This free app allows users to extract frame images (JPEG) from their videos on their iOS devices with ease.
With Frame Grab, you can easily navigate through your videos and select the exact frame you want to extract. The app provides a list of videos categorized by category, allowing you to easily locate and choose the video you want to work with. However, it's important to note that Frame Grab does not support protected videos, such as movies or TV shows downloaded from the iTunes Store.
Once you've selected a video, the player view appears, and you can move the playhead to the specific frame you want to extract. The app allows you to move the playhead frame-by-frame with the help of double-triangular buttons, ensuring precise frame selection.
There are two options for saving the frame images. Firstly, you can tap the share button to save a frame image directly to the Camera roll or share it with other services. Secondly, you can save the frame image to the Queues temporarily by tapping the gray round button. This allows you to save and share multiple photos from the Queues to the Camera roll or other services at once.
Frame Grab also offers various settings to enhance your frame extraction experience. You can choose to show Live Photos videos and customize the quality and size of the extracted frames. Additionally, the app provides options to embed geo-tag data and shooting date-time information into the extracted photo files.
It's worth mentioning that images saved in the Queues may be cleared when the app is updated.
